There are several differences between the two. K-Pop videos are intense, exciting, cute, and just fantastic in general. There’s a lot of flashing lights or cute scenes that make you melt inside.
In American pop videos, there’s a lot of fooling around and dancing. Sometimes the videos take place in diners, bars, clubs, or in a random location that has a pretty view. They can be silly or intense; there’s no in between.
They both have the power to either make someone laugh, cry, smile, dance, or all of the above. Music itself is meant to bring up memories, good or bad, in a way no other form of art can. The amount of emotions one can feel can range from happiness to pure sadness, but maybe the artist was feeling those emotions when they were writing the song. The beauty of it is that there are so many different kinds of music to listen to that are suitable for almost any emotion you’re feeling at that moment; music in general is an amazing thing.
